All writers, from aspiring to published, are welcome and encouraged to join DWW. It's a great way to meet and network with other writers. We offer annual events (retreats, holiday potluck), critique/workshop opportunities, plus the supportive and experienced knowledge base of our established writer membership.

We have three membership categories:

• Established writer membership for published writers (dues are $50/year for up to age 59, $25/year for age 60 and over). Established writer membership application and guidelines.

• Emerging writer membership for unpublished writers (dues are $50/year for up to age 59, $25/year for age 60 and over). Emerging writer membership application and guidelines.

• Student writer membership for published or unpublished writers enrolled in high school or college full-time (dues are $15/year). Student writer membership application and guidelines.
